It perceives threat. Always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The perception of beauty is not a minor issue, nor a luxury reserved for quiet moments. It is a documented regulatory mechanism that reduces the activation of defensive circuits, promotes the ventral vagal circuit, decreases inflammatory markers, and enhances perceptual capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a world designed to keep you on your toes, pausing to appreciate something beautiful isn&#039;t a waste of time.
